In a hostel, guests have full use of the kitchen facilities, which isn't typical in a B&B.

Do I need a car when I stay at Quadra Island Harbour House B &B?

Centrally located, Quadra Island Harbour House B&B is just a 10 minute walk to the Heriot Bay Village. There you'll find shops, post office, grocery store and government wharf. Heriot Bay Inn offers quality dining at Heron's Restaurant, as well as live music and lots of activities at the pub. It's also a short walk to Quadra Island Kayaks and Island Cycle Bike Rentals. Just across the street from the B&B, when the tide is low, beachcombing beckons. Within close walking distance, Rebecca Spit Provincial Park is a wonderful place for picnicking and swimming (for the hardy).
