Quadra Island is the largest of the Discovery Islands, located on the west
coast of British Columbia, Canada.
Nestled between Vancouver Island
and the west coast of the mainland, it is situated about 150 km.
northwest of Vancouver. It is accessible by ferry from Campbell
River BC, which is midway up Vancouver Island.

Approximately 3000 people live on Quadra Island year round, with numbers more than doubling in the summer

Driving to Harbour House Bed and Breakfast You may drive via the more scenic old highway, or more direct Inland Island Highway.

Vancouver, British Columbia: take the BC Ferries to Duke Point (south of Nanaimo), or Horseshoe Bay to
Departure Bay (Central Nanaimo) on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. You can make reservations on these larger BC Ferries.

Drive north to Campbell River BC (about 2 hours). Take the ferry to Quadra Island, a 10 minutes ferry ride. Ferry schedule

Campbell River, BC (about 3 hours). Take the BC ferry to Quadra Island. Please note that No reservations are possible
on this run.

Ferry Schedule to Quadra Island
Ferries
leave from Campbell River, BC, daily every hour on the half hour between
6:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. Exceptions are as follows:
Tuesday: no 10:30 a.m.
Sunday: no 7:30 a.m.
Everyday: 5:25 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: also 11:30 p.m.
Flying
Fly
to Vancouver International Airport, or Victoria Airport. Book a
connecting flight to Campbell River. BC. A Quadra Island taxi service is available
directly from the airport. As well, car rental agencies are located
at the airport.
Westjet has implemented
a direct flight from Calgary and Edmonton to Comox, BC, just 40 minutes south of Campbell
River. Car rentals are available at this airport too.

Drive from Quathiaski Cove to Heriot Bay, following signs to
Cortes Island ferry.

Follow
the road from the ferry straight ahead up the hill, curving to the left at Cove Shopping Center.

Turn right at the
3 way stop, with the Village Square shops on your right.

Take the next left before the RCMP station onto West Road.
Continue on for about 8 km.

Just after entering
the Heriot Bay community, turn right onto Schooner Road at the Firehall. Quadra
Island Harbour House is approximately 1 km. along this road, on the left side.

Please park facing the garage, in the extreme left, extreme right, or center space.
