- Bring your binoculars and bird watch; eagles, herons, and many smaller species make Quadra home.
- Visit island artists, shops, and galleries year-round with a self-guided map.
- Various docks located around the island are interesting to visit.
- Enjoy island roasted coffee at a local café.
- Hunt for petroglyphs on the beach, or for the Lucky Jim mine.
- Enjoy a massage from a wide variety of trained therapists.
- Visit Cortes Island, BC, via the nearby ferry terminal in Heriot Bay.
- Cape Mudge Lighthouse is scenic and easily accessible by road.
- The Quadra Island Community Centre is the cultural center of the island. It is a hive of activity most nights of the week, with films, workshops, sports, concerts, plays,

- Drop in to one of many yoga classes offered in a variety of styles.
